The Xperia range of handsets by Sony Ericsson are fabulous and company keeps on making its portfolio stronger. A couple of months ago, the company came in with Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, an Android smartphone, which justifies the title of smart in Smartphone. The handset is jam-packed with features, which are impressive as well as user friendly. Starting with the display of the phone, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V has got 3.7 inches of scratch resistant LED backlight LCD capacitive touch screen display, which has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine accompanied with Timescape user interface. The screen is pretty clear and gives a delightful experience to the user while viewing pictures and videos on phone. The device comes with scorpion processor clocked at the speed of 1 GHz, powered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread that would be soon upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The processor is accompanied with 512 MB of RAM, which makes it easy for the Android OS to run smoothly and hassle free.
The inbuilt memory of Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V is decent as it comes with about 320 MB of internal memory space that could be further expanded up to 32 GB by the means microSD card slot. The camera of the Smartphone is also impressive enough. The phone sports 5 megapixels of rear camera with facilities like autofocus, LED flash, 3D sweep panorama and geo tagging. What adds charm is the front facing VGA camera that would allow the consumers with to snap self pictures and make videos calls with ease and comfort.
The internet connectivity of Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V is average. The Wi-Fi and 3G support are nice, but the GPRS and EDGE support are not up to the mark, but are decent enough to connect internet in case of emergency. For file transfer, the device has got Bluetooth version 2.1 and micro USB port. On the whole, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V is absolutely delightful and charming android device, but the price tag could be a little heavy for Indian consumers. Therefore, if you have sufficient budget for an android Smartphone, then go for Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V for sure.
