Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman comes powered by the Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system which is upgradable to v.4.0. The device comes with the dimensions 106 mm x 56.5 mm x 14.2 mm and weighs 115 grams. The TFT-capacitive touchscreen of 3.2 inches and gives a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels along with 16 million colours. The 320 MB internal storage capacity comes backed by the 2 GB memory card that comes with a device that can further be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card slot. The user can then store loads of data including music files, games, images and videos. The device comes with a music player that lets the user listen to their favourite musical tracks that can be heard through the stereo loudspeakers or through the earphones that can be attached to the device with the help of a 3.5 mm jack. The user can also watch videos with quality and comfort. The 5 megapixel camera offers various features including autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, image stabilization, smile and face detection and touch focus. There is also a secondary VGA camera. Available in the colours of black and white, Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman comes with the Wi-Fi feature that lets the user connect with the web and download data including music files, games, videos and pictures. Powered by the standard lithium ion battery of 1200 mAh, Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman gives the user a talk time of up to 14 h and 15 min (2G)/up to 6 h and 42 min (3G), standby time of up to 350 h (2G)/up to 400 h (3G) and lets the user listen to up to 17 h and 30 min of back-to-back music.
User Interface and UI functionality
Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman comes with a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen that gives a resolution of 320 X 480 pixles and 16 million colours along with a pixel density of 180 ppi. The screen is protected by the scratch-resistant glass. The device has stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm jack that allows the user to attach an earphone with the device. The 5 megapixel camera is located on the backside of the device while the secondary VGA camera is available on the front.
