Sony Ericsson and music have always gone hand in hand. The 2006-2008 has been the era of Sony's mix and match with the walkman that has hogged good chunk of limelight in the range of dedicated music phones. Sony Ericsson W760 and Sony Ericsson W350 have had their own share of glory back then. Now, even after half a dozen years later, neither did the craze for music die down, nor Sony's experimentation with Walkman. And thus emerged the dainty looking all-white Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman phone. Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is not just about free-flowing music like its predecessor Sony Exicsson W8 of the walkman series. But, it is the combination of being the first ever smartphone blessed with the music capabilities, that takes the cake this time. Being a focused music phone, the Sony Ericsson smartphone is capable of handling multiple tasks seamlessly with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS running on it, with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the pipeline.

In a way, the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman in white symbolically represents its deeply embedded roots in the pure form of music. The 106 x 56.5 mm frame of the phone is literally devoid of any other buttons on the front except for that scratch resistant 3.2” multiple touch screen and a semi-circular silver outlined navigation button under it. You can find a similar shaped buttons for volume control and an on/off switch on the 14.2 mm thickness of the phone.
