Samsung Star 2 Duos is a dual SIM and affordable smartphone by Samsung which supports 2G and 3G GSM networks only, which offers a very intuitive TouchWiz UI v.3.0 which provides a very responsive touchscreen and the 3D sound enhancement makes the body sway on the flow of music. This device has a candy bar form factor and comes packed in a size of 109.5 mm x 56 mm x 12.2 mm and carries a weight of 100 grams only which makes this smartphone easy to carry and can remain in one's hands for quite a long time without aching the palm muscles. It comes with a dedicated key to volume rockers and camera application along with a power button which enables the user to directly open the amazing camera with a single press. This handset uses Dolphine v.2.0 browser which provides good browsing experience to the user and is also Java enabled that helps in adding more fun to the gaming world. The Social Hub application puts together all the mails, messages and social networking updates on the phonebook itself and the drop down quick panel allows the users to activate the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with one touch. The design of the phone is also stylish and suits to the current scenario.

Samsung Star 2 Duos runs on Samsung's own proprietary OS and has a 3.2 inches WQVGA TFT display that is capacitive in touch has sensitive touch controls along with a virtual keypad which provides a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels along with 256K color depth that makes the screen clearly visible from each angle. There is a 3.2 MP camera with 4 x digital zoom feature that can capture image in resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and can record full QVGA video with resolution of 240 x 320/176 x 144 pixels at 15 frames per second. This smartphone does not have any secondary camera for video calling but the user can enjoy seamless music as it supports various audio and video formats with connectivity to FM radio with RDS and recording feature along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It holds an internal memory of 200 MB and a microSD card slot is there to help the user in expanding the external memory up to 16 GB. One can have various connectivity options to Internet as well as to the nearby devices through EDGE, GPRS, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB port. The standard Li-Ion 1,200 mAh battery in Samsung Star 2 Duos allows the user to have talktime up to 10 hours and a standby time up to 550 hours along with long hour of music playback. Samsung Star 2 Duos is a nice handset which is available at a minimal price range and has black variant only. This device also gives brighter display with realistic colors and is very sleek and light in weight.
