Samsung embeds the latest Android OS, version 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with 832 MHz processor in the new phone Samsung Galaxy Y.

The Galaxy Y display a 3 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen complementing by Touch Wiz UI 3.0.Samsung Galaxy Y mobile phone has the standard specifications with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, microUSB charging port for convenient surfing and data transfer to other devices. The touchphone renders navigational services like GPS receiver with A-GPS to find the way out. Memory offered by the stylish Galaxy model is 256MB RAM, 160MB internal storage with hot-swappable microSD card slot for expansion of storage upto 32 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Y renders good clicking experience with the 2 MP camera along with geotagging and smile detection features. Video recording is also possible with the smartphone at 15fps QVGA, which is not exceptional but just offers a possibility.
