Samsung Galaxy Y Pro B5510 works on the 2G network at a GSM frequency of 850/900/1800/1900 and on the 3G network at a frequency of 900/1200. The device comes with the dimensions 110.8 mm X 63.5 mm X 11.5 mm and weighs 108.6 grams. The QWERTY keypad makes the process of text messaging more convenient. The device comes with a 2.6 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and can be interacted with an optical trackpad. The screen offers a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels along with 256 colours and works with a pixel density of 1554 ppi.

Various multimedia features offered by the device include a music player that makes sure that the user gets to listen to his/her favourite songs. The video player lets them watch videos of their choice. The music player is compatible with the formats MP3, WAV and eAAC+ while the formats supported by the video player include MP4, WMV, and H.264.
