Samsung Galaxy S II is a mid-range smartphone by Samsung that is gaining appreciation from all over the world and is one of the best-selling smartphone of Samsung that has created history amongst its other siblings. It is a slimmer, lighter and with a candy bar form factor and carries a dynamic display and a powerful processor and very high data transfer speed. The glossy black plastic covers the edges of the phone and it features HyperSkin to provide premium metal look to the device and to make it non slippery and finger print resistant. It also has 3D TouchWiz UX that makes the users experience with the user interface a real fun. this ultra slim handset can easily for a long time in your hands and can be comfortably placed in your side pocket. Although Samsung Galaxy S II is a mid-segment mobile but is highly appreciated and preferred by the current generation which brings a new gaming performance to make the user delighted. The drag and drop application on the home screen allows to have a direct access to favorite contents with a single touch.

This smartphone runs on Android v.2.3.6 Gingerbread OS which provides access to over 1,50,000 applications from Android Market and it provides support to various audio and video formats along with a Music Hub to create a library of music. The 3.5 mm jack and FM radio is also supportable over this device along with a 5.1-channel pseudo-surround for headphones and an in-built speakers. The another major attraction is its 8 MP auto focus camera with LED flash and geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization type of features. This camera gives a picture of size 3264 x 2448 pixels and a 1080p video with a secondary VGA camera in front for video chat. Having a size of 125.3 mm x 66.1 mm x 8.5 mm, this handset weighs 116 grams only and with this feather light weight, it can easily sit on your palms for a long span of time without your hands aching. It has a dedicated volume rocker on the left side of the body, a power button on the right, the micro-USB port sits at the bottom of the phone while a 3.5mm headphone jack is at the top and it felt pretty good in hand, too less plasticky than some of the previous-generation Galaxy S phones.
