3 May 2012: Samsung Galaxy S3 is the latest offering of the Korean handset manufacturer, Samsung. The company unveiled the device at a grand event held in London on May 3, 2012. Before the official unveiling, the device has gone through an 18 months development phase. The demand for this device has been soaring high since the company announced bringing out such a handset. After making people wait for such a long time, the outcome is undoubtedly exceptional. It sports a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED capacitive multitouch touch screen and to keep it tough and free from scratches, it is covered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The device runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and will soon be upgradable to the higher versions of the Android operating system. It runs on a quad core Cortex A9 processor, which is clocked at 1.4GHz and accompanies the advanced TouchWiz UX user interface. Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature 1 GB RAM and will come in different options regarding color and on-board storage.
