Samsung Galaxy Note 800 Review
The latest Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is an interesting package and much ahead of its 5.3" relative. The spec sheet of the tablet reveals that it features a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor unit, HSPA+ connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. There was the dire need of a better operating platform to run the larger display of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and that aspect is now taken care of by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The other software tricks have also worked in the favor of the tablet. The tablet has a multi-screen functionality and that helps greatly in making this tablet an educational tool. The students, artists and even business executives can use it rather ably. This feature empowers all of them to watch videos, browse the web and sketch out notes simultaneously. The 10.1" screen and the S Pen greatly help in the whole endeavor. S Pen functionality also helps one use many apps seamlessly. There is an array of apps like Samsung S Planner calendar, S Note app, Ideas apps and Adobe’s Photoshop Touch app which are alone useful due to this creative add-on, we call as S Pen.
There are other advantages that Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 offers. It integrates search engines and allows users to drag and drop content without switching screens. There is standard memory capacity of up to 64 GB, 1GB of memory, 3 megapixels rear-facing and 2 megapixels front-facing cameras and a microSD card slot.
This device Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has a glossy plastic back and in terms of balance, it isn’t that good. Also, the silky smooth plastic finish is like a fingerprint magnet that shouldn’t be the case with a premium product like the Note 10.1. The buttons on the tablet, though, felt well-designed. The front-firing speakers also helped in making their optimal use while holding the Note 10.1 horizontally. The 10.1 inch true HD display looked good but its resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels falls a little less on modern standards. However, all these attributes hardly dampens the enthusiasm for this tablet but definitely must be taken in to account before one feast on this extravagant gadget. The right mix of usable Ice Cream sandwich and precision of handwritten text on the Note 10.1 tablet makes it really different and hope this unique feature make stylus-equipped tablets fashionable too. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will come in Wi-Fi-only and HSPA+ varietals across the globe.

Samsung Galaxy Note 800 offers a wide array of features but will it be able to tackle the mighty iPad? If one consider the brand name, then without any second thought new iPad is the winner but in one ignores the brand image and compare the specs of the two, then he/she will find various aspects that are much better in Samsung Galaxy Note 800. So both these handsets are neck and neck in the competition. Apart from the camera department Galaxy Note 800 enables you to make voice calls which is not possible with the new Apple iPad.
