For quite some time now we have witnessed the launch of projector phones. However, almost all of them were feature phones based on Java operating system. For the first time ever, things have flipped and Samsung’s projector phone, Samsung Galaxy Beam has come up. This is a smartphone with a built-in projector. The 15 lumens projector in Galaxy Beam is bright enough to make a screen 50 inched big just about readable in a flourescent room from four feet away. It’s better used in a very dark room. The troubles encountered while focusing can be done away via the volume rocker. The projector itself has a resolution of 640x360 but its brightness is just 15 lumens as already stated.

This recently-launched smartphone thereby allows users to share digital or media files, with anyone or everyone. Otherwise, Samsung Galaxy Beam appears to look like just another Android phone.
