The Finnish Manufacturer Nokia, has launched another basic mobile phone at an affordable pricing in the X series, Nokia X2 or Nokia X2 00. After the success of X1 series, Nokia has added more user friendly features specially for music lovers to make Nokia X2 a complete package with Media Player. The basic phone is studded with powerful speakers to listen to FM Radio and music player. The handset has got curved contour and high gloss finish to look stylish and modern draped in twin colors, black/ red and silver/ blue combination. Nokia X2 is pre-loaded with in-built 48 MB memory, with an option of expanding it up to 16 GB which would ease the storage as well as the capability to carry more music and data. Nokia X2 is advanced with Opera mini browser and direct access to social networking sites for email, Instant messaging and other multimedia features. Nokia X2 holds a very powerful and sensitive 5 megapixels camera sensor that supports features such as Still image editor, Full screen viewfinder, Self timer, Full Focus, and Flash that will increase the usability of the device and the support of LED flash enables you to take snapshots even when there is dim light in the ambiance. The camera has 2.4 F number/aperture and this lens can zoom digitally up to 4 times so that you can get the minute details of the picture. The images captured are store in JPEG format whereas the camera supports JPEG, BMP, GIF89a, M3G, PNG, WBMP, GIF87a, and SVG-T graphics formats for playback of the downloaded images and pictures. The minimum focus range of this camera is 50 centimeter, which means that the for taking clear picture there should be a minimum distance of 50 centimeter between the object and the camera lens.
This primary snapper captures images with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and it can also record QVGA videos with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels by taking 18 frames per second. For the playback of a video file it supports 20 frames per second. You can zoom the video digitally up to 4 times. This camera has video recorder, you can do video streaming, and there is a video player too. You can enjoy music on FM radio also and there is a Nokia Ovi Store from where you can download millions of songs of your choice. There is no secondary camera with it so you cannot enjoy the chats over video with your friends and family members using a 3G network.

Nokia X2 holds an internal memory of 70MB with 128MB space is for ROM and 64Mb is for RAM. This memory is sufficient to store your phone book entries and call records. It can also hold all the SIS applications that comes pre-loaded in the phone. You can increase the external space of the device up to 16GB using a microSD memory card in the provided memory card slot that is hot swappable. You will get a 2GB card along with the handset.
