Nokia X2 01 Review

Nokia X2 01 is a low budget QWERTY phone, especially built for fast texting and messaging. The handset adorns a TFT display with 262K colors and with a fully QWERTY keyboard, features a dedicated music key. The phone offers a VGA camera at the rear side, which captures still images and also shoots videos of QVGA quality. The handset runs on Nokia Series 40 operating system. The phone sports a WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML (Opera Mini) browsers, which allows user to chat and email with ease. The handset comes equipped with an internal memory of 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of ROM. Memory of the phone can be extended up to 8 GB with the help of micro SD card acceptance slot. The phone sports social networking applications, as user can run Facebook and Twitter applications on just a click. Nokia X2 01 provides a widespread connectivity via 2G Network Bands, Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE. The phone lacks in wireless connectivity option, as does not support Wi-Fi. Nokia X2 01 offers a Stereo FM radio with RDS and supports MicroSoft Outlook synchronization of notes, contacts and calendars etc. Nokia X2 01 is capable of playing multi format video and audio files.

Overall Review

Nokia X2 01 can be regarded as the first generation mobile that adorns the perfect match of various latest features merged with few obsolete features. In simple terms, this mobile can be considered as a boon for the users who prefer to use mobile phone only as an interacting device rather than using additional applications adorned in it. Blessed with latest QWERTY keypad Nokia X2-01 has 2.4 inches screen with 256 thousand color resolution. Unlike several smartphones it does not adhere any high profile operating system and adorns Symbian S40 6th edition operating system. It is blessed with inbuilt memory of 55 MB supported by RAM of 64 MB followed by 128 MB ROM. It also enriches the user to capture photos and shoot videos of their fun moments with help of VGA camera, but unfortunately does not support any secondary camera for video chat. Unlike smartphone it also supports connectivity with Bluetooth and USB cord. With inbuilt web browser it also lavishes the youth users to enjoy net surfing as and when they wish to get connected with their friend circle.  The inbuilt FM Radio followed  by inbuilt MP3 audio system and inbuilt games adds an additional flavor to the functionality of the device. Embedded with all these features it adorns strong battery power support of 1020 mAh. With all these features Nokia X2 01 can be considered as the best device for the users who prefer to use mobile phone as the talking tool. Similarly, it can be a useful tool for the school going youths whose parents cannot provide them high-defined smartphone because of their high prices and threat of stealing.
