Nokia X1 01 is a dual SIM device by Nokia that is catering the low end market of customers and is delivering a quality service in the market. With its extended battery life, for those who love to chatter non stop on their cell phones, this device is a bless. The phone was announced back in the month of May, 2011 and hit the market, the same year, in the month of June. Since its release the phone is doing a good business in the market, giving credit to its vibrant body and long battery backup.

The dual SIM, dual stand-by handset, Nokia X1-01 doesn’t offer luxury but in its segment, it stands tall. Nokia X1-01 is a lively handset which can receive calls on both its SIM cards simultaneously and this improvisation, we admire a lot. Plus, there are multiple phonebooks in the phone in which contacts can be saved for user’s convenience. The vibrant design and color options that come in Nokia X1-01 also heightens its appeal.

Symbian-based Nokia X1-01 runs the simplistic Series 30 user interface. Also, there are nice add-ons in this phone in the form of a built in flashlight/torch. Disappointingly, there is no camera and any Internet-based services facilitated on the device. But then, these privileges are not expected from a phone as cheap and affordable as Nokia X1-01 either.

Nokia X1-01 does not facilitate many things but the point is that what purpose it can serve. Nokia X1-01 serves many useful purposes. It is an ideal choice for buyers with low budget, who generally look for solid and tough phones that may have a longer shelf life and Nokia X1-01 is the right choice for them. Moreover, it does not look boring or dull. Its music based features are beautiful. This phone is capable of music playback which makes it a good substitute for a MP3 player. The battery life of the phone is so long lasting that music can be enjoyed for long time periods without any issues.

Nokia X1-01 can be carried by frequent travelers to all kinds of remote places and it will give them enough support in every situation. It is capable of entertaining the users and taking care of their important needs while on the move. It does not have any contemporary features though. There is no data connectivity, even a Bluetooth is missing. The in-built FM radio has no RDS feature. The 1.8 inch display of the Nokia X1-01 is poor particularly in terms of clarity and visibility. There isn’t any camera in Nokia X1-01 and it does not support any image gallery, JAVA apps and smart dialing like features.

Nokia X1-01 is actually a very basic entry level phone with some distinct highlighted features. Nokia X1-01 has nice music features and dual SIM, dual standby support. And yes, there is support for 16 GB microSD cards (which are hot-swappable) also which extends its memory substantially. All in all, Nokia X1 01 targeted at low end buyers is a good phone for them.
