Nokia 808 PureView is the best ever camera smartphone by the Finnish handset maker, Nokia, that has the first ever highest sensor camera, which even the point-and-shoot cameras do not possess. Nokia mobiles is said to be one of the best mobile manufacturers across the world. It has offered its consumers a wide range of products, be it affordable feature phones or high-class smartphones. With the highest ever 41 mega pixel camera, the company has again wonder struck the customers. It is first time in the history of smartphones that any phone comes up with such a high sensor camera, which carries the capability to beat the camera of Apple iPhone 4 in terms of clarity and real life touch. The images taken from Nokia PureView 41 MP camera looks as if they come alive. The users will find difficulty in differentiating between the real and the virtual picture. Nokia PureView 808 comes with a size of 123.9 mm x 60.2 mm x 13.9 mm and carries a weight of 169 grams, which is a bit higher as compared to other smartphones available in the market and is due to the presence of highest mega pixel camera. Though the back design of the smartphone is somewhat unsymmetrical due to this camera but the front looks clean and shiny with capacitive buttons at the bottom of the capacitive screen that are touch sensitive and are meant for Home, Call and Contacts. Below these sensitive buttons, there are three physical buttons also, for call receiving/connecting, menu and disconnecting the call. Nokia 808 PureView sports a rubberized finish and is available in a choice of colors, like black, white and red, making it look more like a rugged handset, rather than a range-topper. The rubber finish adds a nice bit of grip, and while the phones fits reasonably comfortably in the hand, it is quite chunky, particularly at the thickest point, where the camera lens protrudes slightly. The chassis are made up of top class plastic that helps in reducing the weight as well as provide comfortable grip to hands. The front has Corning Gorilla Glass that makes the screen scratch resistant so that the users can enjoy the crystal clear pictures on the Nokia ClearBlack display. The top of the device hosts three important points, that are, the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which can also be used as an A/V connector dock, microUSB port, also used as a charging port, and the HDMI port along with a microphone hole. The bottom is the house for the main microphone only. The left part is used for long capsule shaped volume rocker, a dedicated camera button and a lock button, whereas the right side is left untouched and is completely bare. The back houses the 41 MP astounding camera with LED flash and Xenon flash, powerful battery and microSD card slot under the back cover. Nokia PureView is a game changer device for Nokia, which through its groundbreaking PureView imaging technology let the users take photos with extraordinary detail and creativity. The users can take the best ever 5 MP photos with this smartphone with the help of Carl Zeiss lens and radical new imaging technology and thus becomes the first smartphone to feature this technology, a pixel oversampling technique that reduces an image taken at full resolution into a lower resolution picture, thus achieving higher definition and light sensitivity, and enables lossless zoom.

Besides the 41 megapixels primary camera, the device boasts a 4.0 inches wide AMOLED ClearBlack display that is capacitive in touch and accepts multiple commands as it has multi touch facility that enable the users to give more than one command at one time using the screen. With a decent resolution of 360 x 640 pixels the display provides an unclouded and sharp view on the screen and to add more differentiation, color combinations made from 16M colors and pixel density of 184 ppi plays a major role. The screen has been made with Corning Gorilla Glass that ensures maximum protection along with Nokia ClearBlack display and makes the screen scratch resistant.
