Empowered by Symbian Anna operating system and supported by 1 GHz ARM 11 processor to lavish user for fast application of various functions, Nokia 500 is a 3.2 inches capacitive touchscreen mobile with screen resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The touchscreen phone works well on both 2G and 3G networks. It adorns internal memory of 2 GB to accede request of storing sufficient data including phone address book and other details about different contacts. With this, it also supports external memory storage capacity that ensures the user to store huge volume data including photos, songs, videos, pictures, games and other applications in multimedia SD flash card. It can adhere data card upto 32 GB. Nokia 500 enriches the user from problem of carrying heavy camera to capture photos of the fun moments while he goes out by integration of 5 mega pixel camera with enhanced features like geo tagging etc. This camera also ensures the user to shoot videos of fun moments spend with family and friends and can revert back to those moments by viewing them in future.

Nokia 500 runs the most familiar Nokia operating software, “Symbian Anna” and has 1 GHz ARM processor. The handset is also JAVA with MIDP 2.1 enabled. The handset bears a very rich look with its stainless steel panel. And since it is available in black/white with covers in black, purple, khaki, orange, azure blue, pink, silver, coral red, and green, the kind of range that one gets is truly adorable. Nokia 500 bears phsical dimensions of 113.8 mm x 53.8 mm x 14.1 mm and its weighs 93 gm. Other facilitated features for a superior user experience with Nokia 500 are predictive text input, Flash light 4.0, and voice dial/command. Nokia 500 is available since September, 2011, at an approximate market price of Rs. 10,000.
