LG CX2 Review

The new LG CX2 mobile is a 3D handset and heir of popular LG mobile, LG Optimus 3D. The phone is an improvised version of the original Optimus 3D and while making it makers at LG have just revised the concept and not re-invented it. Yet, they have paid attention to minor details and have introduced some more apt features inside it. The 3D revolution is thus continuing in 2012. It is expected that this unique mobile handset may launch with a different name i.e. LG Optimus 3D Max, which is of-course more befitting.  By that time, we have to refer this as LG CX2.  LG CX2 is said to feature a 1.2 GHz dual-core central processing unit and a glasses-free 3D NOVA display sized at 4.3 inches. Its dual 5 megapixels camera will also have the ability to capture 3D content.

LG CX2 presents before the users some more exciting options as against its predecessor. It is possible to convert 2D objects to 3D with new LG CX2, a feature that was missing in original LG Optimus 3D. The newest model has an all new OMAP 1.2GHz SoC dual-core processor from Texas Instruments. This adorable processor is liked world over for its unmatched performance. Besides, there’s also the NOVA display in LG CX2 that will showcase 3D content in much better way. The thinner profile (reduced to up to 2 mm than the original) of LG CX2 adds another jewel in its cap. The screen size, physical dimensions and weight etc. of LG CX2 against Optimus 3D, however, remains the same.

The new LG CX2 device will retain the 5 megapixels primary cameras at the rear (just as LG Optimus 3D) but the auto-stereoscopic camera features have been considerably improved. Same as the original LG Optimus 3D, the front-facing camera is also around 1.3 megapixels. Next up LG CX2 will still come with LG’s cache of 3D catered games and applications. However, a little addition in the specs list of all new LG CX2 appears to have given it a deifinte edge. The handset is NFC enabled and the NFC technology of this mobile has some serious uses. It can be used for object tagging, mobile payments, Google Wallet and many more features that tech savvy are still eagerly awaiting. LG is all set to pursue mobile buyers to keep opt for a 3D phone and with the kind of innovative technology they are putting to use, they may sure make it happen. LG CX2 is certainly going to rock.
