Karbonn A9 is an entry level smartphone. It is a dual SIM phone that can run two GSM networks on one device. This smartphone comes with tons of advanced features to let you stay connected with your family and friends and enjoy life on the move. It is running on Android platform and the user can download thousands on more applications from the Android market. The user can easily get connected to the various social networking sites and the integrated Social Hub feature will enable them to stay connected with friends. This phone has captured the very essence of a personal computer and merged in it brilliant aspects such as a built-in data/fax modem. The contemporary design gives a sophisticated look to the phone. This affordable piece of gadget have dual SIM capabilities so that the user can stay connected via two networks and it is also 3G enabled smartphone but there is no front facing camera in it.
Karbonn A9 comes packed in a size of 120 mm x 60.5 mm x 11.3 mm and holds a 3.8 inches wide WVGA display which gives a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels with 16M of color combinations. It has a bar form factor and has capacitive touchscreen with multitouch facility. Various messaging features such as SMS, MMS, e-mail, push mail, etc. are supportable on this device and the user can connect to the world of Internet and even to the nearby devices through EDGE, GPRS, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, WAP, Bluetooth, USB port, etc in order to transfer files from one source to another. The internal memory contains only 1 GB of space with 512 MB of RAM but the external memory can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The 5 MP auto focus camera comes with features such as dual LED flash and digital zoom and can capture images with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and can even record full videos also. The user can connect to the FM radio with 3.5 mm headphone and this 3.5 mm jack can also be used to attach woofers or speakers to the device. This smartphone can play various audio and video files that are supportable on different formats and it runs on Android v.2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It has a virtual QWERTY keypad and the standard Li-Ion 1150 mAh battery which allows a talktime up to 4 hours and a standby time up to 200 hours. The user can also play music for long duration.
