Karbonn A15 comes packed in a candy bar form factor that is easy to carry with your one hand only. It has a 4 inch WVGA TFT LCD capacitive touch display that provides a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels along with support of multiple colors. Moreover, the device has been provided with an external memory support up to 32 GB using microSD card, which is very significant in the segment and perfect to store all your favorite songs, videos under one roof. The primary 3 megapixels rear camera that has a support of LED flash for clear and vibrant images and videos during night. There is no secondary camera to enable video calling. Various connectivity options are provided at your end to allow you to stay connected with your friends and family members, some of them are EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, 3G with HSPA+ speed, Bluetooth and USB port. It has a support of GPS also that helps in navigation of your destined route. It also has 3.5mm headphone jack that acts as an A/V connector. The internal memory is capable of holding your call records, phonebook entries, messages and SIS applications. Overall Review
It's like all hell has broken loose with karbonn and Micromax releasing one device after the another faster than what we can keep track of. The phablet war along with the tablet and the never ending smartphone keeps going on with each company trying to topple each other bringing cheaper devices but with higher specs. One would think there would be compromise on quality but both the companies continue to constantly innovate and improve, which would only end up as something good for the consumers. Karbonn A15 is another Android devices to add to this never ending list of Smartphones with the device running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which although is not the newest version of Android but is still pretty close.
The device has a pretty elegant look and the is available in the single color of black, which gives a nice sheen to it. The front panel and the back panel has a nice glossy touch to it giving it a neat and clean appearance. Its 4 inch screen has a pixel density of 233ppi, which is very nice and gives a clear display. The processor is pretty powerful with a 1GHz CPU that along with a not so impressive but decent 512MB RAM should give the user a fast working device. The internal memory is of 4GB, out of which 2.5GB is available is available for the user but there is a microSD card slot just to further cushion the memory. There is also the Wi-Fi facility for accessing the web where the browsing speed is pretty reasonable but opening multiple tabs can be a bit of a hassle decreasing the speed significantly. Other connectivity features include the USB port, Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE facility.
The camera department is not exceptional but decent enough with a 3.0 megapixels strength while there is also a secondary camera for web calling and web chatting. Multimedia features are pretty healthy too with a music player that has a very good sound quality when heard through the earphones although the response is not the same with loudspeakers. The radio FM player gives the user access to the popular radio stations that are accessible in the respective cities. Powered by the standard lithium ion battery of 1,420 mAh, the user gets a decent amount of talk time and standby time where the user can enjoy all the features of the device without his or her entertainment being cut short in the middle. The device also supports the dual SIM facility so that two contact numbers can be kept for the same device. Some other features of the device include an organizer, document viewer, voice memo/dial and a predictive text input.

Karbonn A15 has a 4 inch TFT capacitive touch screen backed by the accelerometer sensor and a pixel density of 233ppi. The screen also gives a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels and can be interacted with through the multitouch technology.
Multimedia features
Karbonn A15 provides a music player that is compatible with the formats - MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV player whereas the video player that gives access to the latest videos is supported by the formats - MP4, WMV, H.264 and H.263 player. An FM radio is also facilitated.

Both the devices have a 4 inch screen with similar resolutions but as far as the internal memory is concerned, Karbonn A15 has a 4GB internal memory as compared to Micromax Ninja 4's 130MB. The camera resolution is more with Karbonn A15 with 3.0 megapixels as compared to Micromax Ninja4's 2 megapixels. The processor too is far superior with Karbonn A15 as it is backed by the Android Ice cream Sandwich as compared to Micromax Ninja4's Android Gingerbread operating system. The battery strength is pretty much neck-and-neck with Micromax Ninja 4 giving a slightly more standby time.
News Updates
Karbonn A15 released last year and was headed against Micromax Ninja 4 and in terms of specs looked better. The appeal on paper did not quite translated into actual success in terms of sales but it still did reasonably. Karbonn has also released the smart tablet series recently with variable sizes of 7 inch and 9 inch and is expected to well. These would again be pitted against the tablets from Micromax with its Funbook series.
