HTC Ville Review

The most recent creation from HTC's 'vivid' portfolio is an upcoming Android smartphone HTC Ville anticipated to be announced in the late first quarter of 2012. The new HTC Ville will be HTC's first smartphone to feature Android's latest release Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Although running Android 4.0 version software will not be the only exceptional feature of this technical gizmo, it will simultaneously amaze with its brand new innovative HTC Sense User Interface version 4.0. Embellishing with the technological advancements, the touch phone still would gracefully carry its customary inheritance.

HTC Ville stuns with the sensational 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. The qHD is not same as HD, but not bad either. The Super AMOLED display form a dreaded PenTile matrix layout for sub-pixel offering a crisp, sharp and bright screen. The smartphone adorns a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor in a super-slim chassis less than 8mm thick. The sleek and stylish touch phone offers rich multimedia and multi window browsing experience in both 2G and 3G networks. HTC Sense User Interface sports a rejuvenated home screen with all the new apps and widgets.

HTC Ville with Beats Audio comes inbox with custom made Beats headsets, diligently engineered to deliver extraordinary sound to play MP3 and MP4 formats. The specially defined software and user interface is tuned to deliver mobile audio experience like never before. The touch phone does not miss out on stereo FM Radio with RDS. HTC Ville also encapsulate the latest HTC content services, like HTC Listen music store, HTC Read bookstore and HTC Play gaming hub to offer more.

With the prodigious 8 mega pixel instant capture camera, the photo is clicked just at the moment when you press the button, will never let you miss the great shot. Shooting the video is also phenomenal with high resolution capturing at 1080p HD making you fall in love with photography. With 1 GB RAM, internal memory can store almost unlimited phone book entries and messages but still there is an option to extend it further through microSD card upto 32 GB. It seems, Ville does not have NFC on-board which is may be due to the metal body. Offers connectivity through EDGE, GPRS and 3G options to add on the ease of transfer through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The HTC Ville’s is definitely going to make a mark and existence will follow the unveiling of HTC Edge.

Overall Review

HTC Ville can be touted as an amazing device but this one is still just on papers. HTC Ville, just like HTC Edge has not been officially announced. Its preliminary specifications are impressive but it may take some time to actually ascertain its true worth. It is our belief that HTC has plans to unveil HTC Ville in the coming Mobile World Congress to be held in February 2012. It is also speculated that the phone will launch by April, second quarter of 2012.

The most amusing is the fact that HTC Ville will house the latest Android operating system v 4.0 (also referred to as Ice cream sandwich) and also all new HTC Sense 4.0 UI. It also houses an incredibly powerful dual-core Snapdragon processor of 1.5 GHz. The phone shall look dashing in its ultra-thin chassis of 8 mm thickness and with its 4.3 inches wide qHD super AMOLED touch display panel. An 8 mega pixels camera, a 1650 mAH battery, enhanced Beats audio, 1080p HD video recording capability are the other prominent goodies of this device. It has expectedly packed in huge memory support besides a very powerful 1.5 GHz Snapdragon dual core processor. The memory is ample as it is expandable to upper limit of 32 GB. The multimedia features are awesome. The music on Android music player and Beats audio system is very enjoyable. The camera is of 8 mega pixels can shoot 1080 p HD videos. HTC Ville has a HTML browser and support of all kinds of Google services.
