HTC Mobiles is a well-known mobile brand across the globe. The company is recognized to make phones, which are smart, intelligent and user friendly. In my view, HTC Explorer is certainly an impressive Smartphone that is packed out with ample of interesting and comprehensible features, which is very important to be present in the today's scenario.
By just a glimpse of HTC Explorer, one would surely be impressed and mesmerized. The 3.2 inches of TFT capacitive touchscreen display is pretty awesome and comes with an ideal resolution of 320 x 480 pixels that gives immense pleasure in viewing images and videos on the device. To further add charm and glory to the screen is the HTC Sense 3.5 user interface, which is smooth and easy to use. Under the skin, HTC Explorer is powered with a sturdy processor of Cortex A5 that runs at a speed of 600 MHz and has Android 2.3 gingerbread as operating system. The device has a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225A and is accompanied with Adreno 200 GPU. The presence of accelerometer and proximity sensors adds more contentment while working on the phone.
HTC Mobiles has taken care of camera segment of HTC Explorer too. The smartphone is fitted with 3.15 megapixels of rear camera with facilities like geo-tagging and face detection. The camera has a capability to capture 480p videos. But the sad part here is that the device lacks secondary camera and LED Flash. This part might cost HTC Mobiles a bit of sales as same category Smartphones does feature secondary camera and LED flash that enhanced the pictures and videos considerably.
Talking about the memory of HTC Explorer, this smartphone has been provided with 90 MB of inbuilt memory storage accompanied with 512 MB of ROM and 512 MB of RAM. The memory could be further amplified up to 32 GB as the company has provided a microSD card slot, where one can insert microSD card to enlarge the memory up to 32 GB. The connectivity features of HTC Explorer are impressive in their own way. The smartphone sports GPRS/EDGE, 3G and A-GPS support along with facility of connecting internet through Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth and microUSB port are present for data transfer. On the whole, HTC Explorer is an absolutely remarkable Android smartphone, if the company would have worked on the secondary camera and LED flash, the phone would have become absolutely flawless.

HTC Sensation is an Android version 2.3 entry level smartphone with a modest 600MHz Qualcomm processor that allows applications to start up instantly and switching between them is also made easier. User Interface and UI functionality
With a decent sized 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen and a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, the user get a crystal clear view of applications. The lock screen allows access of contacts, mail, camera, and messages in one swipe even when your phone is locked. With HTC Explorer we can put what’s most important at ease of fingertips. HTC Explorer is a good multimedia phone in a small package. It offers the users entertainment like never before. It allows web browsing at ease similar to desktop computer. To make viewing better, the HTC Explorer automatically adjusts the text on the screen so user dont have to scroll left and right to read the text completely. Websites can be found easily and are very much readable. And to search for any address, a map opens up immediately and the location can be traced. It allows zoom in and dial a phone number on the web page in one easy step, which gives convenient handling experience. The audio player supports .aac, .amr, .ogg, .m4a, .mid, .mp3, .wav, and .wma (Windows Media Audio 9) formats for playback whereas for recording the format supported is .amr. On the other hand, the video player gives back up to .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv (Windows Media Video 9), .avi (MP4 ASP and MP3), and .xvid (MP4 ASP and MP3) formats for video playback while for recording it supports .mp4 format.
Pictures and Video quality
HTC Explorer sports a 3.2 megapixels primary color camera with an image resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels but it cannot exactly be compared with an 8 megapixels auto focus cameras of many smartphones but it is good enough for a modest picture and video quality. The shutter button is also very quick. It will never let a great shot slip away. The instant capture camera button works as soon as the button is pressed.
Internet support
HTC Explorer offer rich Internet experience. It supports 3G with up to 14.4Mbps download speed and up to 5.76Mbps upload speed. It also support EDGE at 236.8 kbps speed. Navigation through GPRS can be done up to 80kbps speed. Active lock screen in window allows good stuff on your phone, user can check up on your portfolio, view your friend's status, and more. User can surf the web in style with multiple window browsing, a quick look up tool for jumping to Wikipedia or YouTube and the latest Flash support for smooth video playback. Internal and External Memory
Total storage capacity offered by HTC Explorer is 512MB for RAM and 512MB space for ROM along with 90MB user available memory, which is not very high but good enough for normal applicability, like storing phone book entries, call records, SIS applications and messages. You can extend the external memory of the droid up to 32GB using a microSD card in the provided memory card slot.
