HTC Droid Incredible 2, an Android smartphone by the Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, HTC, is the successor of one of the most successful smartphones, HTC Droid Incredible, that the world witnessed previously, but this new Droid comes with some improvements in design as well as in the internal specifications. This smartphone has larger display, improved processor, sharper HD video recording, Dual LED flash, secondary camera, updated operating system, improved battery and many more minor changes that make this device much better and nicer than the previous one. HTC Droid Incredible 2 comes preinstalled with a SIM card and the users can swap the SIM card with the SIM of some different network only after using the smartphone for a time of 60 days with the same preinstalled SIM. One will find the optical ball, which was there in the earlier sibling, HTC Droid Incredible, missing. Although HTC Droid Incredible 2 is the elder kinfolk of HTC Droid Incredible but it resembles to HTC Incredible S and HTC ThunderBolt in terms of its outer design. It comes packed in a manageable size of 120.7 mm x 64 mm x 12.2 mm and with the weight of 135 grams only, this device can easily sit on one's palm for quite a long time and with its sleek body, this smartphone can easily slip down the pocket comfortably. With the minimalistic design, the front looks clean and is complemented by the subtle soft touch feel around its back. There are capacitive touch buttons below the display, which will rotate according to the orientation, and hence provides a unique distinguishable feature to the smartphone. The top houses the 3.5 mm headset jack, second microphone and a dedicated power button whereas the bottom hosts the primary microphone and a notch that helps in removing the back cover. Coming to the front, one will get a large display with capacitive buttons, that are used to have direct access to Home, Menu, Back and Search, along with a secondary video calling camera and the back, as usual, is the home for the primary camera with dual LED flash and speakerphone grill, and under the back cover one will find a powerful battery, SIM card slot, and spring loading microSD card slot (16 GB card preloaded).
