BlakcBerry Style 9670 carries 2.7 inches TFT LCD screen supported by external QVGA display and touch sensitive optical trackpad. Enriched with BlackBerry OS 6.0 operating system, Style 9670 integrates internal memory of 512 MB thus enriching the users to store sufficient number of data related to address book in their mobile handset. With an objective to lavish the users with facility of storing additional data in their small device it adheres external memory card slot that is capable of storing microSD flash card up-to 16GB, however, the device already comes with external memory card of 8GB. Designed specifically for CDMA network this tool supports both 2G and 3G network services provided by the CDMA operators. An easy access to these network services makes fast and an easy access to Internet surfing with help of in-built HTML web browser which facilitates the users to access their mails as and when they wish to access without any problem of having Internet modem.
Camera of 5 megapixels comes with features like autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, image stabilization enabling the user to experience high defined photography and video recording feature, followed by feature of video calling which is supported by 3G network. Style 9670 also supports connectivity with Wi-Fi application enabling the user to enjoy wireless connectivity with Internet surfing. Connectivity with Bluetooth enhances the wireless connectivity with other Bluetooth enabled devices for data transition. The data transition is also performed with help of microUSB v2.0 data cord which is connected other device for exchange of data between mobile and other device.
Moving towards the features of BlackBerry Style 9670 that it lags in, it does not carry feature of in-built FM radio which is commonly founded in every mobile handset being launched in market everyday. Blackberry Style 9670 came onto the scene two years ago and was a pretty high profile device but since then the device got lost in the Android storm. Still, RIM has always or rather was originally directed for businessman who had to check mails or access the mails on the go. BlackBerry has struggled with the rise of Android but still there are those who would like to own a BlackBerry and experience the feeling they get with it. Blackberry Style 9670 is certainly one of those devices that would contribute to that feeling and the device is most appropriately named Style with its flip type handset making it certain that it would be given a second look. The device is sleek and attractive with a QWERTY keypad to add to its value along with the ever so popular touch-sensitive optical trackpad. The camera is of 5 megapixel strength but there is no provision for a secondary camera, a feature which is common in most of the high profile devices these days. The device runs on the Blackberry OS 6.0 and is powered by the standard lithium ion battery of 1150 mAh. It is available in the colors of steel grey and royal purple. The 8 GB internal memory can be further enhance up to 16 GB with the help of a microSD card slot. Internet can be accessed with the help of the Wi-Fi. Data connectivity features are also available like the bluetooth and the USB port but these are not the latest versions which was expected since the device was released two years ago. All in all a good looking device with some healthy features.
User Interface and UI functionality
Blackberry Style 9670 has a 2.7 inch display which is pretty small considering the large screen trend we are witnessing today. The TFT screen offers a resolution of 360 by 400 pixels and gives 65 k colors. It has a external QVGA display as well while the internal screen can be interacted with through the optical trackpad and the QWERTY keypad. As far as the dimensions of the device is concerned, it is 96 mm long, 60 mm wide and 18.5 mm tall and weighs 131 grams.
Multimedia features
Blackberry Style 9670 offers tons of multimedia features like the music player and the video player that makes sure that the user can listen to the popular musical tracks that can be heard by the user through the loudspeakers or through the earphones that can be attached to the device with the help of a 3.5 mm jack. The user can also watch and enjoy videos with great picture clarity and comfort. Unfortunately there is no access to Radio with this device. The music player supports the formats MP3, WAV, WMA and eAAC+ while the video player is compatible with the formats MP4, WMV, H.264 and H.263.

Blackberry Style 9670 is powered by the 5 megapixel camera which works at a resolution of 2592 by 1944 pixels and comes with the autofocus facility along with the LED flash feature. The auto focus makes sure that the user can click precise and clear pictures while the LED flash adds brightness to the background when it's too dark. Other features include geo-tagging and image stabilization. The video recording is not as sound as picture clicking with the user getting to shoot with VGA quality.
Internet support
Blackberry Style 9670 offers the Wi-Fi facility but there is no DLNA or hot spot feature. The user still gets to access the web and download the desired data including music files, games, images and videos. Various social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter can also be accessed.

The USB port is also provided that would facilitate data exchange with computers but the thing to be noticed here is that versions of bluetooth and USB port are not very advance or up to date which would a problem in terms of speed with the current gadgets offering the latest versions or somewhere close to it. The USB port can also be used to charge the device by connecting it to the computers or laptops via USB cable. GPRS and EDGE is not available. The Wi-Fi facility allows the user to browse through the web and access all the desired websites or download data.
Compare
Blackberry Style 9670 when compared to BlackBerry Torch has a better camera with the former featuring a 5 megapixel camera as compared to the latter's 2. Blackberry Style 9670 also has a better RAM with 512 MB and a higher resolution screen.
