BlackBerry PlayBook comes with the dimensions of 194 mm X 130 mm X 10 mm and weighs 425 grams. The device features a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen that gives a resolution of 600 X 1024 pixels along with 16 million colours. The screen also works at a pixel density of 170 ppi making sure that the user gets remarkable picture quality. The device offers options in terms of storage capacities with 16, 32 and 64 GB allowing the user to store loads of data without worrying about the memory running out. The memory is backed by the 1 GB RAM that makes sure that the user gets to access the resources of the system at a faster pace. The device offers numerous data connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n that gives the user access to wireless Internet. The bluetooth facility allows the user to connect with other devices and transfer data to that device or receive data from it wirelessly as per their convenience. The USB port allows the user to connect other devices to the tablet like a pendrive or a data card. Various multimedia features offered by the device includes a music player that allows the user to listen to his/her favourite music that are compatible with the formats MP3, WMA and AAC+ while the video player lets them watch videos in the formats DivX, WMV, XviD and 3gp. Use the loudspeaker or the earphones to listen to the music. The earphones can be attached to the device using a 3.5 mm jack. BlackBerry PlayBook offers numerous features that would makes it a fantastic device but does it have the features to pursue the user to opt for the device over it competitors.  May be. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 offers a microSD card in all its varients but only up to 32 GB. Playbook, though does not feature a microSD card, does have one of its varients with a 64 GB capacity.  Other features are more or less similar. As far as it comparison with Apple iPad is concerned, the iPad scores more in the design and operating system department while the BlackBerry to some has better web browsing facility.
