BlackBerry is a brand, by the company Research in Motion, which is well known for its range of smartphones. BlackBerry’s first gadget was brought out in the market in 1999. BlackBerry 850, the first gadget, was a two way pages, first launched in Munich, Germany. Year 2003 onwards did BlackBerry started releasing for what it is better known, the smartphones. These smartphones had all the best of features that could have been dreamt of, push mails, text messaging, web browsing, faxing, Internet, and wireless information services. The first few models had mailing facility as the focus. However, it was only in 2011 that BlackBerry plunged into tablet business. The first tablet by the company was BlackBerry PlayBook.

The BlackBerry App World can easily purchase or download apps that would be needed, games (Angry Birds, Cut the Rope), social networking (Facebook, Twitter), reading books from Kobo, are the easiest now with the BlackBerry App World storefront.

However, other than the base model, the rest stand cancelled.
