What are 3G mobile phones?
3G mobile phones are those that feature mobile phone and mobile telecommunication services like voice telephone, mobile internet access, video calls and mobile TV's all available in a mobile atmosphere.
The first appearance of the 3G enabled mobile came in the year 2008 on December 11, introduced by MTNL in Delhi and then in Mumbai. After the ball was set rolling by MTNL, BSNL cashed in, and launched its 3G services on 22 FEB 2009 in Chennai. Then April 2010 saw the first auction of 3G wireless spectrum which was finally allocated to all the private operators on 1 September 2010. Currently the Government owned BSNL is the most successful 3G service provider with more than 3 million subscribers.
Which are the various 3G phones in India?
Almost all the brands for mobile phones come with the 3G technology but not in all the versions. Various 3G mobile in India are Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iphone 5, Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Other brands for 3G mobile phones include Samsung 3G mobile phones, BSNL 3G mobile phones, Videocon 3G mobile phones.
Then 3G dual SIM phone is also popular among the users that gives the facility of dual SIM and the 3G technology to go with it. Various dual SIM 3G phone in India include Micromax Q80, Samsung Star Duos B7722, Spice QT-95, Motorola Glam, Beetal TD-590.
Also the more popular cell phones among the 3G phones would be Android 3G mobile phones. Lowest priced Android 3G phones available in India starts at Rs.299 which is the Micromax Funbook. Samsung Galaxy S4 is the most popular 3G mobile priced at Rs. 37,990.
